We had a relaxing 4th doing some cleaning out and reorganizing. The kids swam and played most of the day. We went to my parents for supper and by evening, fireworks could be heard around the countryside. Our horse HATES guns. Even Daniel's bb gun or airsoft gun really freaks her out. So, about 8:00, we came home to THIS. She had freaked out and ran through my garden. It was pretty bad. She destroyed a lot of plants and wrecked the fence.
Deep hoof prints show she must've been bucking around and thrashing all over. Lovely.
So, we decided if we wanted to avoid further destruction, we'd better go shoot our firecrackers off somewhere else.
